Introduction of the ASSQ

The Association sportive des sourds du Québec is the reference in Quebec for any Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual, who plays or wants to be involved in sports and physical activities.

The ASSQ: the meeting point of Deaf Sport

Athletes come for the expertise, participants share their experience, everyone develop healthy habits and each of them finds the necessary support in realizing their sport dreams. The ASSQ offers services and activities ensuring athletes communication needs are met in order to encourage their inclusion. That is why several employees and volunteers communication in the langue des signes québécoise (LSQ).

The ASSQ is a reference for everyone, including Deaf or Hard of Hearing. At the ASSQ, you have access to a team of experts for financial assistance or technique, meet athletes and coaches or anyone related to inclusive sports for Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals in Quebec.
